Websites, hostingand AI automation.

I'm Muyiwa Akinola. I started OneNet Servers in 2015 with ₦2,500 while I was still a student. I have run it ever since, and I use what that taught me to build and look after the systems businesses in the UK and Nigeria depend on.

The short story

How I got here

2011

My father's business had closed and I was close to dropping out of university. I sold used BlackBerry phones on campus to pay my way. A year later I found a mentor, learned HTML and CSS, and built an online shop for the phones.

2014

I looked for hosting a student could afford and set up without help. I didn't find any, so the following year I started OneNet Servers. It took two years to reach 58 customers. By the end of 2021 it hosted more than 600 businesses.

2023

I moved to Manchester on a Global Talent visa. OneNet Servers now runs in both countries and most of my work is on AI: support assistants, internal agents and private deployments.

Questions people ask first

Do you work with small businesses and startups?

Yes. Most OneNet customers are small businesses, and the Starter Plan was priced from what they told us they could pay.

Am I hiring you or OneNet Servers?

Hosting and support come from OneNet Servers. Design, build and advisory work is done by me, with OneNet engineers where a project needs them.

How do you price projects?

Fixed price for a defined scope, a monthly retainer for ongoing work, or a paid hour for a single decision.

Is Global Talent mentorship immigration advice?

No. I share my own experience and help you present your work. For advice on your application, use an IAA-registered adviser or a solicitor.

Where do NIN and BVN appointments happen?

In Manchester. I send the address when I confirm your slot.
